Early one morning, Kenadie woke up to obnoxious squealing sounds. She thought to herself “what on Earth could that be?” She then got up from bed and investigated on where the sound was coming from. Kenadie looked over at her sisters hamsters cage and saw her hamster GIVING BIRTH! She was intimidated and didn’t know what to do.

Moments later Kenadie decided to call her dad…FINALLY. “DAD, DAD, DAD!” She screamed on the phone. “WHAT WHAT WHAT!” Her dad replied “CHEERIO (the hamster) IS GIVING BIRTH!!” Her father remained silent and out of nowhere started dying laughing. Kenadie shook her head. “Ok I’ll be home soon but, whatever you do, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING.

Kenadie was still frightened, feeling like a clueless obstetrician on their first delivery. She tried to remain calm throughout the situation and to patiently wait for her dad to arrive home. In the time being, Kenadie observed the hamster cage noticing that there were 3 bald baby hamsters crying out. The hamster out of nowhere shoved one of her babies in her mouth and started eating it. Kenadie started to panic. She decided to take the other baby hamsters out of the cage and wait patiently for her father to get home.

Momentary, her father arrived home. He rushed into Kenadie’s room to investigate what was going on.

After that, everything was fine and we learned to never buy a pet hamster from PetSmart
